So as I was saying Pink Lake is near Port Gregory just before you hit Kalbarri on the inland road.
The reason for its pink hue is due to bacteria (Dunaliella Salina) which becomes trapped in the salt granules. The colour can change due to weather conditions and the time of year.

After taking some time to enjoy the sites it was off to Kalbarri to book into a caravan park and settle in.
The views of the sunset and moon rising over the river are spectacular
After going for a night-time stroll along the foreshore it is as off to bed so I could wake up early to go fishing.
